There are automotive shops, and then there are institutions.

I have been going to 20Twenty Tint & Films since I moved to Lynchburg, and watching this place evolve has been rather delightful. They have gone from being the excellent local shop I initially discovered to a considerably larger operation and, rather inconveniently for the rest of the industry, they seem to have brought the same standards with them.

The new location is fantastic. More space, more capability, more equipment, more cars coming through the doors and somehow none of it has resulted in the sort of “we’re successful now, good luck getting anyone to answer the phone” nonsense that one occasionally encounters.

The workmanship is excellent. The attention to detail is better. The staff actually knows what they are doing, which remains an underrated feature in the automotive industry.

And then there are the awards and recognition. At this point, I am beginning to suspect that 20Twenty intends to collect distinctions in automotive appearance services with the quiet determination of a British family accumulating silverware over several generations.

I have used them for tint, and I’ve watched the business expand into wraps, PPF, ceramic coatings, paint correction and detailing. What impresses me most is that the growth hasn’t diluted the original quality. Quite the opposite.

There is also something wonderfully old-fashioned about the way they operate: do the work properly, stand behind it, treat the customer well, and let the results speak for themselves. No circus. No desperate salesmanship. No need to convince you that a mediocre job is “premium” because someone put the word on a wall.

If you’re in Lynchburg and care about your vehicle, 20Twenty is the place I’d send you.

Five stars, naturally.

Though frankly, at this point, five stars feels a little like giving the Ritz a complimentary mint and calling it a review.

Vinyay and Delano are awesome guys and clearly take pride in what they do! We had a long overdue ceramic coat put on our car after recent collision repairs and it turned out amazing. They took time to talk to us about the process and showed pics they had taken along the way. Who knew so much work goes into ceramic coating??! The new paint from the collision repair looked good but now it looks 1000x better after they finished. Their attention to detail was meticulous and apparent in not only the work we had done, but also on the wraps they were doing on other cars in their shop which they took time to show us. Cannot recommend this shop enough!

Five stars doesn’t feel like enough for Vinay.

I’ve trusted him with three of my vehicles now, and there is a reason I keep coming back. His attention to detail, craftsmanship, and commitment to getting things exactly right are exceptional. On my most recent vehicle, he went above and beyond to accommodate me, and that level of service does not go unnoticed.

I am extremely particular about details, and Vinay is one of those rare people whose standards seem to be even higher than mine. What he does is more than simply tinting windows. It is a craft, and he is truly an artist at it.

Tradespeople who take this much pride in their work deserve to be recognized and supported. Vinay, I hope you know how valuable your talent is to this community. Exceptional work. Exceptional service. Every single time.

I couldn’t be happier with my window tint! The quality of the work is amazing, and my car looks so much better and the heat reduction is PERFECT for my daughter and soon to be newborn. The team was professional, friendly, and provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. They answered all of my questions, made the process easy, and completed the job with great attention to detail. If you’re looking for a company that does excellent work and truly cares about its customers, I highly recommend them. I’ll definitely be coming back and referring others!
